Recreation Hall

This Recreation Hall was built in 1896.  A Mrs Cash had offered £200 to the Society to provide a small hall, on condition that it be built within six months.  The Hall, built of corrugated iron on metal frames, cost £182 and could seat 100 people.  Mrs Cash opened the Hall herself in December 1896 and it remained in use for shows, lectures and church services until 1958.
