Playing Fields

A cricket match on The Colony playing fields.  From the earliest days in the residents' free time sport was encouraged and cricket was particularly popular.  In this view the pavilions are to the left in front of the iron workshops coverted from the original 'Iron Home' Alpha House.  Then to the right in the trees on the horizon is Susan Edwards House (the original Passmore Edwards House).  Then to the left of the marquee is Victoria House.  To the right of that is Debenham House.
